Position Summary
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing safe, code-compliant electrical work across residential and light commercial projects. This role supports installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades while ensuring high-quality workmanship and strong customer communication. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and ready to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
What You'll Do
Electrical Installation and Service
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and system upgrades
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Install panels, circuits, lighting, devices, and related components
- Ensure all work meets current electrical codes and safety standards
- Complete work in a clean, professional manner that reflects company quality
Field Operations and Team Support
- Work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with dispatch and office staff to maintain schedule efficiency
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope, timing, and findings
- Support team members as needed during busy workloads or complex projects
- Maintain accurate job notes, material usage, and documentation
Safety, Tools and Professional Standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite best practices
- Maintain and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Keep work areas organized and hazard free
- Represent the company professionally with customers and in the community

What You Bring
- Journeyman Electrician license or residential certification required
- Minimum 4 years of electrical field experience
- No apprentices. Must be capable of independent field work
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Reliable, organized, and safety focused
