Mini split systems, also known as ductless heat pumps, provide year-round comfort with high efficiency and flexible installation options. Whether you’re upgrading an older home, finishing a garage, or adding cooling to a space that never had it, a mini split is one of the most effective solutions available.
Licensed • Insured • Local Technicians
Mini splits are quickly becoming one of the most popular HVAC options in Northern California, especially in areas like Mount Shasta, Weed, Yreka, and across Siskiyou County. They offer both heating and air conditioning in one system, with no need for ductwork.
A mini split system consists of an outdoor unit connected to one or more indoor air handlers. These systems transfer heat rather than generate it, making them significantly more efficient than conventional heating and cooling systems.
Because there are no ducts, there is no energy loss through ductwork, which can account for a significant portion of energy waste in traditional HVAC systems.
Mini splits are not just for cooling. Modern ductless heat pumps are designed to perform in both extreme heat and cold conditions, making them a strong fit for the climate in Mount Shasta and surrounding areas.
In the summer, they provide efficient air conditioning even during peak temperatures. In the winter, they continue to deliver reliable heat, even when outdoor temperatures drop well below freezing.
At All Trade Services, we install mini split systems for homes and businesses throughout Mount Shasta, McCloud, Weed, Dunsmuir, and surrounding areas. As a full-service HVAC contractor, we handle everything from system design to installation and startup.
We work with leading manufacturers including Mitsubishi Electric, and as a Mitsubishi Diamond Certified Contractor, we install systems to the highest standards for performance and longevity.
Every installation is tailored to the home, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and efficiency.
Homeowners in California may qualify for significant rebates when installing high-efficiency heat pump systems. Programs such as Tech Clean California, HEEHRA, and local utility incentives can help reduce upfront costs.
We also offer financing options through GoodLeap, including no money down for qualified applicants. In many cases, rebates can be applied directly to the project cost.

ACCA National Standard
Mechanical systems require routine monitoring, adjustments, periodic cleaning, and eventual replacement of components. Regularly scheduled inspections and maintenance are often required to maintain the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) warranty.
This standard prescribes basic maintenance inspection tasks and offers recommended corrective actions to maintain most residential HVAC systems. It provides checklists for the inspection of typical residential HVAC systems to meet the minimum maintenance requirements. These equipment checklists are divided by equipment type and provide the minimum visual inspections, performance tests, and measurements. The recommended corrective actions provide generic guidance that should return the equipment to good working order.
Conducting regularly scheduled inspections, maintenance, and remediation of HVAC systems prolongs equipment efficiency, promotes healthy clean air, supports lower utility costs, guards against unexpected failures, and prolongs equipment life. Occupants and the environment will both benefit.
